I think your idea works and is executed well. The lighting dynamic is proper and your core composition is on target. While I think the large planet lacks surface definition and depth the overall color scheme and smaller moon reflect a more illustrated approach rather than a true portrayal of reality. In this case it works for me. Had I seen more of the larger planet I may have digressed a bit and reflected on the vagueness of it's detail rather than the collective of the work. Well done again my friend.
